John and his team were fantastic! I had two normal oak trees taken down as well as one massive oak tree that sprawled completely over my house, and I had received 8+ quotes for the job ranging in equipment and cost, but John was the most reasonable, fair, and used the least invasive equipment. He was very good at communicating, drawing up contracts, as well as doing the work very efficiently. I was out of town for a large portion of the work, but John sent me updates as well as completed the work in a timely fashion. The only reason for 4/5 stars was the hydraulic fluid and gasoline that found its way onto my blacktop driveway, I would have preferred having them put cardboard down under the chipper and fuel their chainsaws in the grass. I will have cardboard on hand next time! Very minimal yard damage from the tree falling and moving, and an excellent cleanup job! Will be using JPS in the future for all my tree cutting needs! I had a great experience with this tree service. John was very friendly, genuine, and polite from the beginning. I was initially concerned about the typically high cost of tree services, but John offered a more reasonable price than other companies I contacted. He was able to do the job the very next day, and the work was fast, clean, and well done. I couldn’t be more happy with the work that John and his crew did. His price was far lower than the other quotes I received. He completed the work within three days of the quote and he and his crew did  an excellent job of quickly removing 2 trees and large branches on another tree. The cleanup work on my property and my neighbor’s property was incredible. My neighbor commented that there was wasn’t a leaf or  a twig left. Superb service once again from JPS Tree Services!!  I had a huge limb come down in my yard just after I left for work yesterday. Limb took out all power lines to both properties on my lot and neighbors. There were live power lines in driveway and pole leaning over.  I called John in a panic and he immediately said he would take care of this emergency situation for me and did!  I have a housebound elderly person at home who could not get out and restoration of power was needed asap due to the 100 degree heat. John told me no problem, I will take care of it and he did. One phone call, no fuss, no issues, just came to my home and got the job done. Not a single leaf left behind. I have a job where it is very difficult to accept phone calls and communicate during the day. I didn’t have to worry AT ALL. One phone call with John and the job is taken care of professionally and completely.  I can’t thank you enough JPS for giving me peace of mind when I could not be there.
This is the second job he has done for me and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
On a side note - DEAN GAUDET I see your review from yesterday and I believe you have the wrong company?  JPS was at my home in Cromwell on 7/1 and Eversource, Frontier, Go Net speed all had trucks on the street in addition to JPS which did the work in my driveway and yard not on the street. Also there is a parallel road to the neighborhood even if the road was blocked allowing easy in and out by multiple paths. It also was an emergency situation with the need to restore power to the affected homes in the neighborhood in the extreme heat.

John and his crew did amazing work.  They took down several trees in our yard and we are extremely  pleased. They were professional from start to finish. Their clean up was so good you would never know they were here.  I would highly recommend them!!!!
